Community, at Limatambo district. It is a new tourist circuit for those who want to get
out of the ordinary, and even more, for nature lovers, we will be able to see birds such
as eagles, hawks, kestrels, hummingbirds, among others, during the tour we will visit
beautiful archaeological remains; Quillarumiyoq and Tarawasi , and at the same time
we will appreciate mountains, rivers and snow-capped mountains, and finally we will
enjoy the majestic flight of the condor in its natural habitat, the area home
approximately 200 Andean condors.

DAY 1 CUSCO – QUILLARUMIYOC – TARAWASI – CONDOR CANYON

We will pick you up from your hotel in our mobility at 7:30 am, then drive to Limatambo for approximately 2 hours, through this trip we will visit 2 important archaeological areas such as Quilarumiyoc (Temple of the Moon and fertility) and Tarawasi (Tambo del Inca) and with the help of our professional tour guide we will learn more about the Andean worldview, and its architecture. We will continue our journey to the Huayronca bridge; and from here take a road to the community of Chonta, we will ascend up to 3400 masl (11 154 ft). During this trip we will have so many photo ops with the snow–capped Salkantay and the Limatambo valley, we will arrive at the town of Chonta at 12:00 hrs where we will enjoy our delicious lunch with the background of the Salkantay. After lunch we will begin our walk of almost 1 hour and a half along a wide and very beautiful path to the viewpoint of the Condor Canyon
at 3400 masl (11 150 ft), the temperature is warm, from this point we will have the opportunity to see the impressive Andean condor in its natural habitat , once at the viewpoint we will wait for the condors to arrive after their daily activities, this wait will not be for long since the condors usually return in the afternoon between 3:00 pm, to their nests, Here you will have the opportunity to see and photograph condors quite close, some within 20 meters (60 ft) for 2 hours. After this great experience we will return walking to the town of Chonta, where our mobility will be waiting for us to return to the City of Cusco, arrival time will be at 7:30 p.m.
