We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco at 4:50 a.m. then drive for 3 hours to the Quesiuno community, going through spectacular landscapes, traditional adobe houses
and big groups of llamas and alpacas that are part of the awesome landscape around the Ausangate mountain (6398m / 20991ft), the highest mountain in Cusco.
Rainbow Mountain, (or Vinicunca), is in the Vilcanota Mountain Range, located in the southern area of Cusco. This is a rewarding place, even for the most discerning travelers and hikers, providing unforgettable memories, magnificent panoramas, formidable glaciers, crystal clear rivers, awesome lakes. This new route is truly unique and is a great adventure through preserved natural wilderness. Once we reach the top of the mountain, we will be rewarded with incredible views of the area while we will enjoy the majesty of the Red Mountains and snow-capped Ausangate. You will have enough time to explore the area, take many photos before starting to descend to our lunch spot and then comeback to Cusco.
